So I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Pretty elaborate scheme - they drag you along just enough to be beyond their arbitrary 'refund' policy. I contacted Digital River again and was told anything beyond 30 days is non-refundable. Of course, Corel technical support doesn't actually exist and so that went nowhere. That is when they informed me I needed to contact Corel technical support and only they could help me. After some super sleuthing on my part, I got a contact directly to Digital River that went through and I requested a refund again. I tried all the emails I had successfully sent to before and either received no response or got notice the email is not maintained. That is when I got a response saying the email address I was trying to contact is not maintained and will not be seen. When I got fed up enough with the total run around not to mention time I was wasting uninstalling, deleting files, removing cookies (you name it), I responded via email that I wanted a refund.

Once I finally got an email with actual instructions on how to solve the install issue, they included links that did not work or were bogus. My replies to those were ignored and instead I kept receiving duplicate emails asking for the same information in order to get help. I was able to log on and see my order and invoice but could not get through to shipping tracking using the same order number and password even after renewing my password. To date I have not received the backup disc shipment and have had great difficulty getting through to customer service on 1300 and Sydney business numbers which go to an automated message about calling during business hours, which I was doing. On 7 Sep payment went to a Commonwealth Bank in Sydney.

During the promotional period I was able to get through to customer service which was a call centre in an Asian country who reassured me payment had not gone through and I would get notification when this happened. On receiving numerous emails about upgrade for $129 Australian for Dragon Professional Individual 15 because there would no longer be support for my Dragon 2013 program. I have been using Nuance Dragon for approx 15 years and I have never had a problem when ordering and receiving shipped items through Digital River Germany.
